Could just be lots of hard wear on the clutches.
I don't understand how my tuning droped the rev limiter down,it's supposed to be locked in? If it did why am i hitting it at 5500 rpms when it is set at 6800 rpms??? Also the transmission fluid looks very clean.

He has trannies that are living behind 10 sec supercharged cars. 4l60e trannies that is. He did the one in my wifes car and she is rough on it and after 1.5 years, NO problems what so ever. Several people around here have used him and NONE have had problems.

It seems the problem is related to the motor from what me and paul (thunder racing) have come up with. Sounds like my 918s spring are gone after 25K miles of racing,atleast that is what were hopeing for.
It turns out the tranny checked out fine,along with revlimiter and fuel pressure. The problem was a pinched knock sensor wire and was causeing low voltage,so the knock sensor was maxing out the KR at WOT and cutting off the fuel. All is fine now after cutting out the broken section on the wire and rewireing the PCM.Scott
