Default 4L60E shift ????
How many of you guys with the 4L60E will your Trans shift into 4th gear at WOT. I got mine built about a week ago and I did a WOT blast the other day and at 128 mph at 6500rpms it will shift into 4th gear.

yes the pcm will shift it to 4th at a certain speed and rpm

It never would do it until I got it built. It would always hit the rev limiter. I could let off the throttle a little and it would shift, but not WOT.

Will it hurt it in any way shifting into 4th.

i've heard a lot of f-body guys say that it wont shift at WOT into 4th.
i cant be of much help, but my C5 will shift into 4th at WOT.

Mine would not with the stock tranny, but now that it has been built it will shift into 4th at WOT
