Default Who makes this converter?

Just wondering if anyone had an idea. It's a 10" converter for a th350/400. Teal(blue'ish green), and has '10" GM S/S' written on it...Anyone know who that would be off hand?

That looks like a custom built converter for a th350/400 for use with a motor plate. (mid plate)

You can verify it by putting it up to an LS engine, the pilot will be too long to use on an LS1.

The color and 350SS should come from Dynamic Converters. They are in Stone Park, Ill. We've used them exclusively in our stock applications for years. They have almost no comebacks. As far as the performance units, we don't, or haven't used many as most people want name brands. I cannot attest for the durability or performance. From your picture, it looks like a converter modified to fit an LS1 without the LS1 convex style flywheel, (not flat). I might be wrong. Look at the extension on the nose and tristar plate welded to the old bolt attatchment points. I've seen some of their converters like this. Hope this helps.

I found in my book 2 possibilities- DC10SS-12"-350-400: 2100-2400 stall. The other is-DGM3SS10-10"-350-400: 3500-4000 stall. Hope this helps.

It just came out of an ls1/th400 car.

It may be the 2nd one. Definitely a 10", and he said it footbraked to just about 3000 before it started to spin the street tires. I bet on a slick it'd flash to over 3500.
