Got my TCS 4200 installed I got the 4200 with the 2.75 str with 98% efficiency. WOW all I can say is what an animal this converter is! Ill have some track times on Thursday, this thing is a beats!

Re: Got my TCS 4200 installed The car is pretty stock, Its a 98 with 90,000 miles, I have done no weight reduction yet other then pulling the front sway bar, Ive got an LS6 intake, K&N fipk, Modified MAC headers, no cats, 3" dual exhaust, built tranny, skinnies with metrics, 15x10's with ET streets, stock 7.5 time bomb waiting to go off with a good old 2.73 gear. Before this converter I had a Yank sy3500 <---glad thats gone! Best I went with it was a 8.40 with a 1.96 60' on the motor, and a 7.31 with a 1.64 60' on a 150 shot. It was also 103 degrees out! Ive only had the car for about a month so Ive only had the heat to run it in. Ill post the new numbers Thursday night. I know it will go faster, but the heat, lack of traction, and especially the gear are really gonna hold me back from seeing the converters real potential. I think Ill see some high 7's on the motor though. Possibly some high 6's on the spray, just dont know how this beast of a converter is gonna like the bottle and the stock rev limiter. Oh well got a back up LS1 sitting in the garage. Talk to you all on Thursday, wish me luck!

Re: Got my TCS 4200 installed I will usually spray right out of the hole, Ive got a wide open throttle switch. Its just gonna be trial and error with the new converter to see what works best.

You have 2.73 gears!? How does it drive? Why do you say a lack of traction in your 2nd post? I dont see why those 15x10's with ET streets would give you traction problems.

Re: Got my TCS 4200 installed It was the $700 one. It said right on my bill 98% eff. I really dont know why she spins so bad, the track here is brand new and probably has something to do with it. I will be messing with launch rpms, but it is going to be HOT like 100 plus degrees. I am just as anxious as you for track times!

I managed to eek out one last best from my tired SY-3500 last Saturday. I cut a 1.48 60' on the ET Drags with the 100 shot to hang the stock front wheels for bit. So I can't wait to get the new monster in there with the new BMR Extreme Sway bar.

I also have the TCS 4400 vert. I'm not sure how it is racing it cause my stock tranny cant keep up w/the power.
I"m waiting on my TCS Tranny to go so I can let it rip! I like to come out of the whole at 2000
