It just came in today so no I'm not looking to change yet. The car was on the dyno after the new H/C set up and the tranny blew up. I'm having the stock 4L60E rebuilt to a stage III so I thought while it was down I would try something or than the Vig 3200. Just thought I'd give the TCS converters a look see.

Re: Got my TCS 4200 installed Well heres the deal. This converter made me realize I need some suspension parts! My ET streets are about 4 years old, and sat for about 2 years unused (Im in the military and have been deploying quite a bit). So anyway I think they are about used up. I picked up 3 1/2 tenths in the 1/8 mile with this converter with only half a second improvement in my 60' foot, due to massive wheel spin. This was all done in about 90 degree heat! If you are thinking about spraying with the stock rev limiter, forget it. As soon as I nailed it, I started tapping the rev limiter. I do however have 2.73 gears, so more gear will help calm the rpms down a little. So I am now looking for a rearend with a better gear, some HALS and LS1 edit. All in all this converter is wicked!
Re: Got my TCS 4200 installed is that 3 1/2 over another converter or over stock? Even though there were issues would you mine emailing me your timeslips and what rpms you tried on each one, I would really appreciate it, I will be going out tomorrow night.

Re: Got my TCS 4200 installed I have a Yank 4200 with 4:10 gears and the convertor is wonderful. I may breakdown and get the 4400. It may run a 12.00 eventually with proper tunning and few more mods. Cheers and good luck with everybody's setup.
Re: Got my TCS 4200 installed well I went to the track last night with the 4200, I would post timeslips but that would be pointless at this point until I get some tuning. I ATAPed 3 of the runs and one had some major KR, and all passes, timing was being pulled from the time I launched the car, so it looks like it's time to get that dreadful TM deleted. Once I get the tuning and go back out to the track I will post times. I'll just say the times with this converter weren't bad considering the conditions; TM, KR, and probably 3000DA. I borrowed the ATAP from a friend so he is going to get my logs saved on a disk and I may be able to post them for everyone to see.

As far as TM goes, the timing went down to 22 as soon as I took off. I will get the logs ASAP and show you what I mean, it's not pretty at all

Re: Got my TCS 4200 installed Ahhhhh, I'm surprised TM got you right off the go but the 1.6xx is still nice given the PCM was fighting you. 
I got this really cool box from UPS today. What an amazing coincidence since I have time scheduled at the shop tomorrow for a TCS TC install and a BMR Xtreme sway bar. It should be a fun ride to work on Thursday.
