TH400 Conversion Q's
What parts are needed?
Price of aforementioned parts?
Part numbers if possible?
This is for a full time drag car. Dont bother with speedometer parts, or any frills. I already have the TH400/Yank Converter/Transbrake/B&M Tranny Cooler. Now I just need the parts to put it in. Thanks in advance!

Yes the starter will work. The only trick is the torque converter you have to add 5/8 inch to the snout.

NOT ALL CONVERTORS. I have heard the most problems with having to shim, have been with the Yank convertors. I have an ATI convertor and tranny, and mine bolted right up, no shimming.

For the tranny cooler, what lines do you recommend? And with a 4000 stall, how much heat can I expect the tranny to generate. The last TH400 I had in a 79 Trans Am I had years ago kept cooking itself to death with the big stall. I had to replace the tranny 4 times in one year, and it put me off of automatic transmissions for 12 years!
