will not shift 1-2 @ WOT my trans has been taking longer and longer to get into gear when i go from R to 1st. it takes its time, and if i add throttle before it gets into gear, the rpms rise, nothing happens, and then i get a nasty clunk/kick. also, if im driving, and i come to a complete stop, esp quickly, the idle will drop to ~550rpm for a few seconds, then go back up to ~750rpm or so. sounds like its about to die out.
but most recently, i was doing a WOT run, and it hit the rev limiter and did not shift into 2nd until i let off the gas. i have a converter with me. should i hold off on installing it? should i wait until the transgo comes in? will the transgo fix this issue?
or will i need to rebuild soon?

That "dremeled MAF": Does that trick the PCM into thinking there is less load on the engine; and inturn increases ign timing, and decreases trans pump pressure?
