Default Got Spec stage III installed today.. a few ?'s

I just picked my car up from having the Spec Stage III ceramic installed. It is a 2002, so it already had the upgraded hydraulics in it. I bought the kit that included the new flywheel. I was expecting some chatter on the release. From what I had read it seemed like most people have this. Mine had none, the only problem that I have with it is that it engages/disengages right on the floor board. It almost seems like it doesn't "disengage enough" like I am having to force it in and out of gears. Is anyone elses like this? What can I do to fix this? The guys that installed it said that it took them 45 mins to bleed the master on it. Could a bad bleed job cause that? Btw.. they did the drill mod also.
Thanks

Kind of sounds like they didn't put the shim in. It goes between the slave and the tranny. It's a green composite disk.

I asked them yesterday when I picked the car up if they installed the shim and they did. The pedal was a little better this morning. I am going to bleed it myself this weekend. That has to be the problem, it's all mushy feeling until it gets to the floor then it has some pressure, but not a linear feeling, it goes from spongy to hard and has very little travel in the "hard" spot.

Ok, I bled the HELL out of the clutch this morning and it greatly improved the pedal feel, but I am still having to try too hard to make the car shift. 1st to second is pretty hard and then 2nd to third is almost impossible. The engagement and disengagement is very close to where the stock points were. Will the ability to shift between gears improve with more mileage? I have about 200 miles on it so far.
