Default 4L60E Vacuum modulator ??

I am in the process of getting my 4l60e rebuilt. Should I go with a vacuum modulator? What are the pros and cons of going vacuum. I also have LS1 edit. Could I use LS1 edit to make the changes instead of going Vaccum?

It is supposed to shift more accurate and harder. I guess it gets the slop out.

99LS1_TA,

Yes, you can use LS1 edit to change the line pressure of the tranny. The edit will allow setting of shift firmness to your desire. I would just get an electric trans built and use edit.
