The best nitrous convertor IMHO is the Yank 3600E and not many people will argue that. I pull 1.4 60's with mine on the bottle with the mods in my sig.

Are you still on the stock rearend? What shot are you running, and are you spraying out of the hole?

Agree. A PYE 3600 will do very well. Won't be superloose, will hold the spray, and will make a major improvement in your NA times too.

Without a doubt...Pro Yank 3600 Extreme. Good N/A and stellar on the juice.

I have heard that the Vig. 3200 is a great nitrous converter.

3.23 gears are best for nitrous. With 3.73 gears, you will shift to OD before the traps...not good.

Even 2.73 gears are good with big doses of nitrous.

I tested most. For nitrous, the Pro Yank 3600 E is unmatched. If you run a 100 shot or smaller, any converter will do, but for a bigger shot (125+), a purpose-built nitrous converter pays huge dividends.

go to www.tybrne.com they will have the information you are looking for.
now, not to hijack the thread but... what do you guys think of the PYE 3400? 200 less stall and 2.7 STR. i was thinking about getting this for better streetability and still get a nice kick in the pants at the track. also, does anyone know what the efficiency is on either of these converters? they dont have it listed on the chart i saw on yanks site so i was wondering if anyone on here would know.

Thank you Patrick for being able to understand this I fought for 2 day with the mods. on ls1.com about this very fact. I guess this is why I search this site for any real answers.

So where do you put your sack? Did you cut a hole in your seat for it, or did you have to just take the seat out and use your sack for a seat?

<~~~ 125 shot, stock trans/converter/rear/driveshaft, sprays out of the hole, no window switch :p

2 transmissions and counting

I am running the stock 3:23 gears and i havent grenaded anything yet. Tranny still shifts like it did new but the rearend is starting to howl. I guess stock gears werent meant to take this kind of abuse.
You could also consider a set of 3:42's. With 3:23's my car shifts into OD around 135-140, so you might be able to get away with 3:42's unless you plan on running over 130 through the traps.

I had a hard time fitting me and my sack in the car the first time i sprayed that much out of the hole. I would have bet money on me breaking, good thing i didnt cause i would have lost.
Its an expensive convertor but it will be the last nitrous convertor you will have to buy.
