need 4l60e Shiftkit info???
need 4l60e Shiftkit info??? I have a 98 transam ls1 and i believe a 4l60e trans my next step is 3.73 gears and a shift kit but dont know too much about who makes the best kit and the best performing? and what kind of gains am i looking at in the 1/4. any info?
You are gonna want to go with the Trans-Go shift kit. They make the best kit by far for the 4L60E. As far as better times in the 1/4 you will not see much of a gain with just a shift kit and gears.You would actually be better off with a 3500 rpm stall converter and the shift kit then you will be with gears.With the converter and shift kit combo your looking at around .5 seconds of your 1/4. With gears and shift kit you might see .2 off your 1/4 time.
yes if you have the money and want the gear go for it. I ran my car with that combo for 5 years 19 miles each way back and forth to work everyday.3500 stall is very streetable in these cars.
