Default FILL TORQUE CONVERTER, HOW MUCH FLUID?

hi to all, how much trans fluid do i need to fill my yank 3600 converter, also, what seals or gaskets do i need to replace when swapping stock converter to yank converter? does anyone have gm part #'s for seals or gaskets needed? thanks in advance.

You can fill it until it will not take anymore fluid and does not overflow.. There are no seals that are needed, but most do a full fluid swap in which case you will want a new filter kit.. This can be had from any parts store...

i understand that you fill it till full but i need to give to the mechanic the trans fluid and i want to use red line fluid, so i need to know how much for and entire trans fill. thanks

Hey Artic, Dump a quart of oil in it and install it, unless they(The factory) want you to fill it up, then you wouldn't be asking the question....Oh well hope this helps you.

Hey Artic, Dump a quart of oil in it and install it, unless they(The factory) want you to fill it up, Between 11 and 14 qts tranny and all. I hope this helps you.

all you need is one quart in a converter. dont matter if its a stock factory unit or an aftermarket one. all you need is one quart in the converter.

We did the whole fluid and filter change though. Oh, save yourself some money and do the swap yourself with a buddy. I started at noon, installed my new T/C, long tube headers, y- pipe, loudmouth, and a trans cooler, and we were test driving it by nine o'clock that night. It's not entirely hard.

That's taking smoke and beer breaks.
