Bringing back an old thread. Found a better way than ordering the expensive Sonnax kit (for those going with AN Lines)

46340A from transmission parts use dot com. It is the long special fitting, made for 3/8 inverted tube. Then you need a -6 to 5/8-18 Inverted Flare, such as Earl's 991947ERL.

i screwed the rear fitting in, marked it to point to the front, then ground it down a little, tig'ed a 90 deg steel AN fitting-no room for anything else
then used an ATI Perf #6 AN to 1/4-18 STRAIGHT fitting in the front

Can you just buy 2 of each of these and they will both work with modification?

No, only the rear fitting is special. The front you can just use a 1/4 npt fitting.

Nope, I thought that too. 3/8 Inverted flare nuts use a 5/8-18 thread size, as 3/8 is the steel tube size. I ordered 1/2-20 at first and it was too small.

Edit: Shown by this link, as well as others (ONLY to show 3/8 tube nut threads)

Thats not a 1/4" NPT
I guess you could take a 1/4" NPT, goop it up, and drive it home.

The correct fitting is metric. 12mm x something.

TCI says it is. Actually it is the same threads as a pipe thread, just meant not to have a taper and use an O-ring. 1/4 npt works just fine. Just don't overtorque it and crack the case.
