Nice looking converter though, customer service seemed ok.
Sorry to bring the facts, I just don't see how you can screw a stall speed up so bad on a typical bolt on car.

They were willing to go a long way to correct the problem I'll say that.
I didn't feel like taking it out. So you have to look at the whole picture, I had some big time **** going on in my life at the time which lead up to a family member dying. I do my work myself, if I didn't, this screw up would have cost me to have someone else R&R it again.

I get a kick out of people with their converter in a box and give high ratings to the company before they even run the damn thing.

Thats another thing, I had a big name sponsor here make a converter for me. I agree no one has converters on the shelf ready to go, but I'll say this, they DO have the parts there ready to piece together and weld up. It's like fast food, a chicken sandwich gets bread (already made) chicken (already killed) lettuce, etc. Throw it together for a chicken sammich. Now the next customer wants a hamburger, same thing just different parts.

What does that mean? It means that when you order your custom converter they go in the back, look at their chart, take a billet front, put the clutch in it, put the premade turbine in it, put the premade stator in it, put the premade pump on it, and weld it up.
For different stall speeds and or STR's they simply use a different stator and different pump, which is also premade on the shelf.

Want to know about restalls? They do these the same way as a new converter except they use the parts out of other restalls, yes used parts. Thats one reason they do it for free.

And just a minor detail no one will give a **** about but when my life got settled down I walked into a high performance converter shop and let them cut it open while I stood next to the guy. This converter is advertised as having bearings through out-- no thrust washers.

I didn't get this below, there was a brass thrust washer. There was some high quality work inside, but it didn't matter since it didn't stall properly.
names??? dont be scared
