it bolts onto the back of the head...but its shaped so goofy. now that i think about it...i dont know if i ever took it out. its a real PITFA to get bolted back up and in the trans though.

there is a little trick to it. if u have heders, drop the tube in there first. unplug all of ur plugins on that side of motor, and hold the harness up. u have to wiggle and twist the tube to get it down, and pull it under the wires to where is sits stock, and guide it in the hole.

Just take off the Y Pipe, so you can get in there, and stick it up in there have a friend grab it from the top.
I can see you having any bigger problems getting the stock one in there, than I had with Madmans piece of **** tube for the 400T. At least your hole will line up with the bolt.
Good luck.

Feed tube between engine and firewall.keep to passenger side of transmission. When in place dipstick tube sits almost on top of valve cover and intake passenger side. Look underneath vehicle there you will see that the tube end is hanging under just make sure it's right before trans pan now with your hand just reach mabye 2 inches up still on passenger side and make a hook with your finger and there is where tube goes into trans. Now just wiggle a little bit the tube while pushing it up until it clears lip and slide it into port. Now as for bolting it back in between engine and firewall your on your own . If you don't know what size bolt I stead of killing your hands turning bolt through tube just leave tube aside and just find bolt that threads into engine first then bolt tube to engine.
Hope this helps
