driveshaft length with th400 swap

I'm waiting for my th400 and all the swap parts, but I can't really meassure the driveshaft while I'm waiting and I need the car up and running asap since it's a daily driver. Can someone give me their measurement so I can order it in that length? It's a speed inc th400 with stock rear.

stock height? i did mine but i dont recall the length...i can get under the car and measure for you if thatll help...

mine is a d inch tailshaft and mine is 44 inches if i remember correctly...

Yea it's stock height, stock rear. I'd appreciate if anyone can give me a 100% sure number just in case. Thanks.

I just put mine in about a month ago and Eric from midwest chasis got me the driveshaft from strange. Message him and maybe he remember what the legnth was and even get you a good price on the shaft.

pm replied. My trans is a short tail which I believe is a 4" and a 12 bolt but the 12 bolt still uses the stock style u-joint in the same placement. So it should work just fine for ya. I also I think if you let eric know on a monday he can have it to his shop on that friday if strange can get your order made.

bump i was wondering the same thing, i am running outa time quickly was wondering if someone knew the length for a short tail shaft to a 10 bolt stock ride height.
