Default No reverse (fresh build)

I built this 4l60 for my s10 with ls swap last year about this time. It has all the goodies and I put oil in the pan before putting it in and a quart in the converter. It has all of the forward gears but has no reverse you cant even feel a slight bump like it even want to try. Step on the gas and it will rev but go nowhere. Does it sound like a may have cut a seal when I put it back together or something?

Found it I somehow cut one of the teflon rings on the bottom of the oil pump when I installed it. Moral of the story do not overhaul a trans at 2 am in the morning after a long day of working on other peoples junk *** cars.

those seals are easy to cut when installing the pump I have done it myself. I have found that myself after sizing them take a new reverse input drum bushing and put over the seal for a few minutes makes them a little tighter and they go in alot better

I haven't though of doing it that way I'll have to give it a shot that way. I overhaul very few except for a a few select customers. These days I love gm's warranty on their SRTA trans' and if it dies due to abuse it's on the generals back. I try to only do performance builds here and there and our old customers who I know who won't tear it up and bring it back on a hook. Thanks a million for the the help.
