Well tonight i went out and made a few small runs with the car, and something feels weird. Its a stock 4l60e, with a tci 3500 converter btw. When i go WOT from second gear, sometimes it will not shift into 3rd. It just bumps the rev limiter until i let off. Other times it will shift but feels really slow and will sit at about 5000 rpm for about 4-5 seconds then feels like something catches and it moves past 5000. What is causing this? Any ideas? Its never done this before, and doesnt feel right for it to stay at 5000rpms that long before it starts to revv again! HELP!

 

Sounds like the 3-4 cutch is going

 

that will cause it to shift, and then just sit at 5000rpms?

 

You need to data log it and see whats being comanded

 

it was all that water that got in your tranny from the rains. so when you gonna drive back to shreveport?

 

lol..who says u cant run some high quality h20 instead of tranny fluid
