Trans cable bracket

ok, I have an Fbody trans in my S10. I am in need of a bracket for the shifter cable.

my question is: Is the cable bracket in a newer truck the same as the Fbodies?

its a 4L60E...

No the bracket for a fbody and a truck are two totally different ones. One bolts to the case above the pan rail and the one for the fbody bolts to the case trough the oil pan bolts.
