Default Trans not downshifting?

I just increased the shift firmness in my 4L60E, and now the car dosen't want to downshift when I go WOT. Say I'm going 50 mph, and then I go WOT the trans dosen't downshift and it tries to accel in the same gear. I didn't touch shift tables, shift points, etc. just shift firmness. Any thoughts?

The fluid was flushed about 4000 miles ago, and the car only has 48,XXX miles on it. I don't know if it's me or what, but every time I go to check the fluid level it always says it's over filled. I do it with engine running, on a level surface, and after it's been warmed up. I don't get it.

How high on the stick is the fluid? It should only be at the top of the crosshatch on the stick when warm and on a level ground.

It always seems to be alittle higher than the crosshatched area. I can't ever seem to get an accuate measurement.

Yeah, I just installed longtubes, an ory, and had madtuner tune it. Before that the trans, downshifted fine. Could I be low on fluid? The trans does leak alittle fluid.

my tranny does the same thing. but i just think its because the previous owner installed 3.73s and didnt get a tune so maybe that is messing with my shift tables.

Question

I'm still having this issue. Does anyone have a clue why my trans is doing this?
