Default Transmission still early shifting at WOT

My transmission is still shifting too early at WOT. I tried changing the TPS signal to 100 percent, this did not help. Do you think think the car is shifting on MPH instead of RPM. Where is this in the tables? Do i max out the MPH on each and let it shift on the RPM?

The vehicle looks at both RPM and MPH to be met before the shift will happen. If you max your MPH then the PCM shouldn't command a shift to the next gear as the MPH requirement has not been met. I could be way off here, but from what I've seen the mph is always set a little lower than the RPM in the tables and thats how I based my above statement.

That may be true i was just asking how it should be set. I want to get this to work in D. I am shifting manually now off the shift light with the stock shifter. Its a little tricky.

the pcm needs to see the wot mph and wot rpm to make the wot shift

set your wot mph very low for each shift

set your wot rpm to the desired wot shift rpm for each shift

If you are running a different size tire when you race and the speedo isn't adjusted correctly, that can throw things off.

Like the other stated, drop the WOT mph 5-8 to be safe and use the WOT RPM to command the shifts. Also make sure your TB is opening 100% or it'll shift way early thinking it in cruise mode. My throttle cable slipped once and it had me chasing my tail.

Thanks, i will try reducing the MPH. I've already went thru the Throttle cable swap thing. I fixed the TB plate not opening by putting a non tc cable in it. I get 100 percent now. I have the tire size in the tune also. Thanks for the reply. I still have to get the car to idle and shift correctly. That damn IAC will not settle down.
