Drove back from Ftc last night and Nothing was wrong Went up my drive way just fine.... Woke up today drove it down the street.. and it would not go into first.. It would take off in 2nd... The shop did put my TransGo shft kit in with the manual valve... So i put it into 1st Manualy and it take around 5000 Rpm before it "Trys" to move the car and it didnt move the car but 2 feet... My 2nd 3rd and 4th gear work fine.. just no first... Could this be a Computer Prob.? Im outa ideas and money.... Ill have to wait till Friday to have the shop look at it and see wtf is going on....Anyone have any ideas what it could be?

 

Could be and electrical problem stuck solenoid or valve , Possible valve body cross leak scan for codes first .

 

well i got my HP tuners to work with windows vista and i got these codes..

[PCM] P0103 - Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor Circuit High Frequency (SES) (Pending) (History) (Current) (Immature)

[PCM] P0751 - 1-2 Shift Solenoid Valve Performance - No First or Fourth Gear (SES) (Old) (History) (Immature)

 

When you say that it goes in 2nd 3rd and 4th does it shift by itself or are you manually shifting it. I would suspect that you are experiencing a limp mode condition. With the trans go kit when the trans is placed in manual low while in limp mode it will bind up. By what you are describing I believe this is what is going on. I would get the codes fixed first before you damage your transmission. Have you tried to clear the codes and then re-drive it to see what happens?

 

It gos into 2nd 3rd and 4th on its own, But with the 4000 stall its hard to tell, but you may be right, It may just be in one gear (3rd). The high stall might have put it into limp mode... Ill try to clear it and let you know how it runs.
Ive only had the stall and gears and shift kit in the car for 5 days alredy..

 

well i cleared it, but the MAF still shows up, 1st gear is a lil better but its raining out side so i cant really drive it to see if it really worked..

 

Did you have this vehicle tuned for the new gear ratio and the stall?

 

No, i had the tune before my gears and stall where put in... I dunno when my tuner will have time to fix it.. unless somebody can walk me step by step with HP tuners on how to fix it.. that would be helpful
