i just up graded my stall from a 3600 to a 4000, now my speedometer will not work and my trans will not shift! i have checked the big conn on the side of the trans and the small one on the tail shaft about 3 times. and i check all the fuses. need help asap, please!

 

First thing is figure out the speedo check the wires and the connection's at the VSS this is why it wont shift no VSS no shift.

vehicle speed sensor it in the trans tail housing has two wires going to it

 

its pluged in and the wires look ok, how would i check the sig, should it have power?

 

If you dont have speedo working you have either damaged the wires or the sensor
