1st to 2nd gear problems
1st to 2nd gear problems Ok I have a problem I went to the track yesterday and messed up my tranny and need help. Alright heres what happened I done a burn in and got up on the line stall it up took off it spun so I pedaled it so it hooked and then when it went to go to 2nd gear it was all over the rev limited it was like someone kicked into netrual. I checked tranny fluid its fine so I went on to the house and it pulls fine no slipping but heres the problem it streches 1st gear normal driving to 3500 or so before it shifts and then dont shift firm or as firm as it used to.Heres whats done to the car: stock motor with F13 cam swap, full bolt ons, 3500 SSF, B&M shift kit, 4.10's, and 150shot but I didnt spray it yesterday. If anyone has any helpful info on what might be wrong and how I might fix it I would apreciate it. Thanks Jason.
Sounds like the 2-4 band is gone are you shure it isnt actually waiting and shifting directly to 3rd from first?
