Default SS4000 Vs. SS3600 "for a custom cam+N2O"

What stall speed you recommend to have with my mods??!! 4000 or 3600 or any other converter and why?!

its cam only "231/240 .643/.608 112+4" predator-z speced, full bolt ons and 3.73 gear on 295 R18" NA with 100 wet juice " in case" from time to time

Its a street racing car, im gonna rebuilt the tranny soon and cant decide what stall speed to go with?!

can you help me deciding which one is better for my mods

Thanx in advance.

Between the two listed, SS4000 hands down. Awesome performance, very streetable and works well on the spray. However, you might look into the PT3800. IMO, best of both worlds....legendary PT performance that can handle the spray. One of the fastest cars in the Northwest (TwoFast4Lv) ran the PT3800 and sprayed up to a 200-shot on it for years with great success.

Both of those choices sound perfect for a 100 shot. That 3800 was my old converter that made it's way into Ellis's rig...That worked out great for him. I have the SS4000 now over my old SS3600 and picked up a few tenths. I will be shooting a 120 (rwhp) shot soon on it and see what it will really do.

Funny thing about how converters act way different, in different combos....My extension is 5850 rpm with 6600 shift points, and has one hell of a flash. So far, for my combo (with that high flash and big extension) it's the best roll racing converter I've had in thier. I know on yours it was a little to tight upstairs.

SS4000. Because you are putting a cam in and spinning it higher, you will be thankfull you went 400rpm higher. I run the SS4000 on my bolton car with a dry shot and it works flawlessly. Times are in the sig.

Had both the SS3600 and the SS4000 in my truck.

For the bottle I would recommend the SS3600 its a little tighter and will MPH better then the 4000 you can hit it hard outta the hole to make up for the stall speed.

If you plan on only a 100 hit then the SS4000 should be good but if your going to grow ( you will I promise) Go with the SS3600.

if your not goin to spray as much as u say then go w/ the ss4000. But either way i have a PT4000 that is made for a N/A setup and it's a lil' tight so i can prolly spray a 100 shot.

Sorry for the delay getting back to you. What i mean is the efficiancy of the SS3600 is a little better then the SS4000. So Down track when your above stall speed it will slip a little less and will make the same combo MPH a little better.

I Had both the SS3600 and the SS4000 with my 370 Nitrous setup. N/A the SS4000 was the converter of choice hands down. With the SS3600 I couldn't sixty as hard as I wanted to off the bottle but I could sixty wherever I wanted to on the bottle depending on how hard I brought the nitrous in.

If your looking for on the bottle performance use the 3600 if its N/A your after go SS4000.

Eaither way I am sure you will be happy they are both very nice converters.
