Default TCI Breakaway Converter??

Anyone running this converter and if they are how does it do for daily driver and highway driving? Does it really make that much of a differance over the stock? I donot really want to do a converter of 2600 b/c i do alot of highway driving and i want to keep my mpg around were i is. The car has no mods as of now but will have slp headers and catted y pipe along with magna flow cat back, slp lid and maybe on day ls6 intake.Any info will help.

The general consensus is always do more stall.Being that I'm old school from back in the 60s' and familiar with stalls the 'breakaway' gave me what I was expecting and more.BIG difference over stock for a daily and highway driver. No change in highway MPG as you're not changing final drive ratio as convertor lock-up ignores 'stall'.

i just had a super street fighter 3600 installed in my 96. the car has the usual bolt ons but the converter makes the most difference. it makes the car perform so much better and is really fun to drive. this is my first car with a higher stall but from what i have researched everybody says go bigger than you think you should. good luck

Everyone does say go bigger then you think but it just seems to much for a daily driver. IDk man! Thanks for the input guys
