Default Do you know this brand of converter?

I am trying to identify the brand of torque converter. Does any one know what the 45 means on the tranny? I have another tranny that has a 49? What does this mean? What does the 9ffd mean

The torque converter looks like a stock 300MM style for an LS1. It might have some work done on it, but it is not a high stall converter. There are some things you can do inside to increase stall a few hundred RPM, but you are limited by is size. If you are looking for something with performance gains, this is not it. It will work behind an LS style motor with a 4L60E. Not sure about the tranny codes. But hope this helps a little.

The number on the trans is just a casting mold number. Not a big deal. Vince
