700R4 4l60
700R4 4l60 just wondering my brothe rin law said a 4l60 and 700r4 are the same as was going to try and put in the 4l60 over a 700r4 to fix my truck will this work with everthing being stock

the 93 f-bodies has a 700r4 the 94 up had the 60e they are the same internal but one is controlled electronically and the other is controlled hydraulically the 60e will not work unless you get a PCM and wiring harness and convert it
