Cam choice will determine your stall speed as well as the actual converter.

For a daily, why not a Yank 3600 w/ 2.5 STR. Just depends on how loose you want, and what size cam you decide to run.

Everyone keeps ranting about the G5X2 cam for cars with stock heads and motor. Its supposed to be the ultimate.
I am having a custom grind done that will be similar. Maybe a bit more duration for nitrous, but its all in the air right now. Have to talk to Mark at Raging Motorsports first.

One of Comps XER grinds around 230/228 would be very drivable and add alot of power over what you have now. A TCI SSF 3500 (part #242932) converter would complement it very well.

with 3.73s you want 3500 minimum true stall. If most of your 30 miles are highway, then you can creep up to 4000 stall.

STR will reflect your tire choice.
