bought the vig3200 from thunder racing, i wanted the str to be 2.0 (daily driver)but they said that the vig3200 doesn't come that low only 2.55. I know I've read on here someone had the str as 2.0....anyone know if this is true?

 

I think u have to order it directly from preciosion industries and have then custom make it for u to have anyhting less than 2.5

 

im running a vig 3200. not sure what the STR is, but it drives really good for a daily driver.

 

thunderracing told me that the stall is gonna be shipped from precision so I guess they are gonna make it instead of comming from thunderracings wherehouse. I don't understand how they can't make one like that, Fuddle had no problem making mine the way I wanted it. Anyone from precision want to chime in?

 

I have the Vig 3600 with str of 2.5. Drives great

 

what are you rmps at say 70? do you knw off hand?

 

It's a lockup converter so your RPMs at 70 won't change while cruising.
It will depend on your rear end gearing.

 

probably around 2500 to 3k. but i got 373s in the rear

Precision doenst have a probllem doing it either..just call them and buy it thru them and u can get it how ever u want it.......otherwise it will be an "off the shelf" vig 3200.

 

I'm running an off the shelf 3200 Vig with 3.42's. I've happy with the combination. I turn 2200 rpm's at 70 mph.

 

I bought my car with the stall in it. So i couldnt tell you how it was driving stock. But i love driving it. Stall really isnt bad and i thought it would be when i bought the car. I was driving 30 miles highway a day with it for awhile.

 

I have 3200 vig with the stock 2.56 gears and its great.

 

mine still working strong with well over 100+ passes
