Default OK I am stuck PLz Help
I have a 95 z28 with the 4l60e me and my teacher just rebuilt it and i put it in and to come to find out that everything works great but when i am in second gear i smash the gas and its good untill it hits about 5000 or 5400 then it just lays over its like it is slipping or something and it wont shift into third unless i let out of it. PLZ HELP!!!

No but i had another convertor in it last time and it was fine i never had to tune for a convertor.

No before i had a 3400 and now i went to a 2400 but i never had it programed for a stall and now that i rebuilt the trans and put a dif convertor it has done it idk what it would be maybe the valve body....

There are many possibilities but electronics seem more likely. Before I went tearing into anything I would get it on a good scanner like a snapon or otc and look and see if the shifts even being commanded

Does anybody sell a manual valve body for a 95 z28 with a 4l60e??? And does anybody sell a trans brake for it either?
