4l60e gone bad???

4l60e gone bad??? i took out this this morning everything seemed to be going fine. i got to a stop light took a left and on the 2-3 shift it seemed to slightly slip for a second. i went down the road about half a mile or so and stopped again for a turning car. then trouble starts. tranny shifted 1-2 shift perfect but 2-3 just went out. it would pull to about 45mph and hold rpms then start slipping and catching and seemed to slip worse and worse as i went on.
1999 camaro z28 w/ 4l60e 103,000mi.- stock no aftermarket parts what so ever.
checked fluid-full, recent filter change, 1st and 2nd pulls, 3rd is when it slips horribly.

Unfortunately it does sound like the tranny has lost the 3/4 clutches.
What is the fluid condition? Does it have a foul odor?

I would have to concur the 3-4 clutch set has failed. Please feel free to look over what we offer or just give me a call anytime
