the pcm needs both mph and rpm to command the shift. Like revgto said, why did you change the rpm to 5,800.. Set them to 6,200 for the shifts, have your rev limiter set to 6,300 or so rpm. For the mile per hr table i really have to look at my ls1 edit file but im pretty sure 1>2 shift is set at 43 or 45 mph, if you put it too high you will bang the rev limiter and need to back it down. I would say try setting it like i said and try the 1>2 upshift to 43-45 mph and retune the pcm, go for a drive and test out 1>2.. Now i do know that i have my 2>1 downshift set to 40mph up to you on that one stock is 30mph some set it 35-38mph just check out hp tuners message board in the trans section..

According to this thread https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...light=mode+tcc
the ---3--- means the TC is trying to lock. Moved shift points down to see if extension followed or not, it did.
trying to find why TC is trying to lock and what to do to fix it. I have TC apply tables set to 256 for all of second gear.

see if this works...
ok first pic is car starting to shift
second shows trans mode going to --3--
third shows -547 slip (car looses traction going into 2nd)
fourth shows trans still in --3-- mde and lowest point of rpms.
trans stays in --3-- mode until 2>3 shift

mode 3 means that you have reached the speed (stock is set a@ 40mph to lock) that the converter would lock at but the throttle % is too high to lock it. mode 4 is the mode that the converter is actually locked.

but I digress, basically you're saying this should not effect shift extension and is not a problem in any event. Right?

I never really noticed the modes, then again im only using auto tap which i never picked the auto mode pid to show. Im getting hp tuners this week so i might be better able to help you out at the end of the week. Did you try and raise the mph for the 1>2 upshift to 43mph or 45mph and see how it does.

I rarely mess with the TCC tables, but it looks like the TCC TPS table has to exceed 100% before the TCC will release.
I was always able to leave the tables basically stock except for raising the TPS or mph slightly so it wouldn't lock up too early and buck.

thoes tcc tables look stock as they are the same as mine, Now why on earth do you want to mess with that table. That table is for locking the converter, has nothing to do with shift extention... Post up a screen shot of your upshift/down shift mph table so i can help you out.

Hmm... That shift extension doesn't exactly sound right. I have an SS3800, with 3.23s, and most bolt-ons, and typically get about between 5300-5400 extensions. My brother had an SS4000 with similar mods' and 3.73s, and would get about 5400-5500 extensions. I wish I could be more helpful than that, but I'm not a PCM-guru, but I just know my car didn't like any sort of TM. I know you said you squared that away already, but maybe just check again in case (if you already haven't.) It could be that the converter wasn't matched to your combination correctly (shrugs shoulders)
