Stall is determined by several factors engine power being primary that does seem a little high for a flash but of course if your making higher HP numbers than the converter was built to spec for it may be normal

I agree, that does sound a little high. But every combination is different for what makes it faster. Do you know any specifics on the cam or what it calls for?

Wasnt your converter built for a 346?
If FTI built the converter for a 346CI and now you throw more cubes more TQ at it expect higher stall speeds

Very important that the converter is built for the specific combo. Greg needs to know cam grind, rwhp, and if possible a dyno sheet of your current combo to get it perfect. WELL worth it to.
