How Do I Bullet Proof My 4L60E?

Well my tranny bit the dust again and this time Im wanting it done right. Im wanting to Bullet Proof this tranny this time. I realize that is nearly impossible to bullet proof a 4L60E under high horsepower applications, but Im wanting it as close as physically possible to bullet proof.

A local tranny shop is going to do the rebuild but Im going to buy the parts myself. Which clutches and other parts should I get and where can I order these parts from on the internet? I also need a new tranny pump as well.. What do you recommend for a tranny pump? Where can I order these... I need a list of everything I need to bullet proof this tranny as much as possible and where can I order them....

All help is appreciated. I dont want another tranny rebuild after this one. Im only boltons for now. I cant imagine actually running a high HP application.

try looking for the Hi energy clutches website. i would recommend one of Speed Incs trannys. I have a stage 2 from them and its badass.

Go here, I just order all my tranny parts and they said this will hold 600 horse

Jarod @ Earls Garage in Houma, La. builds race prepped trannies for ~$550.00. They hold up behind 10 sec supercharged cars. I have one in my wifes low 12 sec car and have had -0- problems in over a year.
I believe a board member here from either KY or TN has had him build a tranny for them.
