Locking converter
1. Will the TCC burnout if applied at WOT?
2. What expected hp gains would locking the converter show on the dyno compared to running it unlocked?
3. What increase in MPH over the 1/4 mile would be achieved?
1) Do it enough times and the clutch will wear out
2) Dyno gains should be around 3 - 6%. Well worth the wear for an occasional dyno tune.
3) You might gain 1 mph in the qtr.
