As for the AC, the clutch on the AC compressor disengages when the computer senses WOT. That's to protect the compressor from pressure spikes and being over-revved. I believe it disengages at 60% or 80% throttle (based on the TPS sensor) or something like that. So the AC being on has no bearing on power. That goes for pretty much every car ever made, so next time someone says "I lost because the AC was on" tell them
