Default Anyone run a tranny cooler without using the one in the radiator?

I'm thinking I might not mess with running my tranny fluid through the radiator and just have a seperate cooler for the tranny. Anyone done it? What would be a good cooler to use? This is for a race application for a th400 built for 1200rwhp.
Thanks,
Lou

I think just most bypass the radiatior, stays cooler cause the temp form the radiatior is what heats up the fluid.
