Default Quick Question ???

Why is it when iget on the freeway once im going about 70 i feel the car kick down a gear and (I guess from O/D to 4th), but it only does it sometimes

It sounds like what you are talking about is lockup. You should have 1ST,2ND,3RD,4Th and then lockup. Lock up is the torque converter clutch engages. If you have a condition when it going in and out, you might have a condition where you could many different problems. Engine misfires, worn valve body, damaged converter clutch, and there are many different possibilities. In some cases a simple tune might correct this issue as well. Vince

thanks i am throwing a p0300 random misfire code , but i dont know y its misfiring and it sure dont feel like it is. i just did a complete tune up and made sure everything was well secured

The random missfire code is certainly why lockup goes out and in the PCM will disable lockup if it sees missfire

You could have a tune done and have the misfire tables raised I believe. I would contact one and also have them look your car over to see if they see anything as well. Vince
