I just rebuilt the transmission 2000 4L60E it was another shops rebuild that only lasted 45 miles. I found the problems and repaired. The car now shifts great but I am hitting the rev limited once maby twice on a wot 1-2 shift, 2-3 is great. I did some PCM tunning but still hit no matter what rpm or mph I set them at. This morning one of my guys pulled the trans before I had time to test. I just pulled it apart and the 2-4 band looks like new and the drum is new and looks perfect. Its a black wide band with vette servo. The 3/4 clutch pack is also coned including the 1-part apply plate. I don't know what they did for a shift kit but it looks transgo, the pressure must be crazy high. Any thing to check before it goes back together to help the 1-2 shift. I will adjust line pressure one its in the car with some tunning and gauge. I hate fixing other shops problems, you never know what they did.
