tranny swap, pinched a wire

tranny swap, pinched a wire when i was changing out my verter, and i was putting the tranny back on, i put the bottom 2 bolts on and when i went to put the top bolt in, i noticed a wire that i had pinched in between the block and tranny, then i got a code. i didnt get the code til i was almost home from MTI ( 3 hrs away) the code was P1870, could me pinching that wire have caused that, the code meant something like 4x4 circuit short to battery?? what should i do? thanks

Re: tranny swap, pinched a wire The dealer did this to a truck I had a while ago. It was in for warranty work and the transmission had to come off and they pinched a wire like that, and I got a code. Maybe you could try and loosen each bolt like 2 turns and get the wire loose. Make sure to check that the converter goes on the pump right or you'll run into big problems.

Re: tranny swap, pinched a wire i saw that it was pinches when i only had the 2 bottom ones on tight, and when the tranny was sealed to the block, i noticed the wire was inbetween them and wonder if i split the wire?? and what those wires are and go to??
