Default th400 stall issue

ok well short story i bought a vigilante stall from a member for a th400 to ls1 well tonight i started my install and came across an issue my normal convertor bolts that i used for my 4l60e are way to thick for the stall that i bought!!!! cant thread them in. so i went to a bolt store and bought newer ones but not as thick ok well i can thread them now... Ok now another issue i can turn the stall about an half inch back and forth due to the small bolts(im using stock flexplate) what can i do? anybody have this issue before? this is holding up my build

So you're saying the bolt holes in the flexplate are too big for the bolts?
If so just tighten them down, it's common.

ya the flexplate holes are too big now and the can wiggle the stall like half an inch back and forth... wouldnt that like cause a problem? say im driving normal then go WOT those bolts will hit the side flexplate holes kinda hard, couldnt it cause them to break?

If you tighten the bolts there will be no movement between the flexplate and converter.

You have two other options. Drill the converter pads out for bigger bolts.
Or get a flexplate with smaller holes.

You are going to have a little movement on the flexplate to converter bolts unless you snug them up. I had the same thing on my th400 yank converter to ATI flexplate. The car takes a lot of abuse and I havn't had any problems yet. It has gone low 1.5 60' times and will prob. go 1.4's this year.
