4l60e and stall ?'s
4l60e and stall ?'s I will be having my A4 redone sometime in the next few week. There was all kinds of black gritty material in the pan. What is the best rebuilt Kit made? I dont have the money to get a performabuilt trans or I would be going that route. Also What size stall will be best. The car will have full exhaust and a NX wet kit. The motor has 124K on it.

in my opinion i would not get a rebuild kit. with that many miles i have a feeling it could fail anyways, especially with a stall. if that happens, then the stall very well could be ruined as well. i would wait until you can afford a tranny and stall at the same time. just my opinion though.

Yeah Im going to have the tranny beefed up. No since in going back to stock plus i dont want it to go into pieces with i hit the spray.
