Thumbs up Stock vs. Stalled - Video

Maybe this will help some people see what a difference a stall and gears can make. When I was searching to find out what performance gains a stall would give me, a lot of people would just state its a night and day difference.
I find seeing is believing. I haven't been down the quarter mile yet so I don't have any times but I'm guessing it should be in the mid to high 12's once I get some drag radials.

Stock A4 with 2.73 gears in the first part 3200rpm stall with 3.42's in the second part.

I was thinking of doing something similar when I got a stall, but I think it would have been better had you have done the same launch both times. The power breaking could have been done stall or not and looked about the same.

So, I think you should make another video.

Cool video. Your car sounds great, what exhaust are you running?

If you make any more vids, try and do one in-car, with the camera focused on the tach and speedo. That really gives a good indication of the acceleration.

Doesn't really show a lot man. Really for a video like this you should be in the car focusing on the tach and speedometer. That's a much better judge of what's going on.

It also looked as if you launched the car two different ways...

I think that the tach videos are gay. You can see more what the stall is doing, but they're not as entertaining.

Well, when the video is to illustrate the difference between stalls, then that's the point, isn't it?

Watch drag racing videos if you don't want in car views.

To illustrate the point of watching the tach move around? I can make you a video similar to that parked in my driveway. Besides, its been done. I want to see some videos of how a stall punishes the tires.

When you get a stall you can make the videos your heart desires, but I won't be watching 'em.
