we do not offer a discount to forum members per say but you do get the sale price this week on whichever unit you want.
You can send in your old unit I cannot say you will get the full credit on the buy back but you should get something.
You don't need to worry about 1 or 2 piece case we will make sure you get what you need for your application

ok thanks. i herdthat if you dont start using synthetic in a trans theres no point in switching later. so do urs come with synthetic? can i request that it does? (do they come with any fluid at all?)
#4
Only residual fluid from the dyno run and you can use any fluid you like as long as it meets or exceeds dexron 3 requirements

I dont know about performabuilt. Usually though I dump 5-6 quarts in and then start the car and top it off make sure its warmed up some check for leaks. Then put the car up on jack stands, and put the car into reverse and let it idle in reverse for a minute or so applying the brakes to make it stop a time or two. Then put the brakes on and put it into d and run it from 1-4 about five times or so very very easily. Then I take it around the block babying it and make sure i'm satisfied with the fluid level when I get back.
After that its pretty much in gods hands and its only going to get worse from that moment on. I start driving it as hard as I want after that.
Edit: It will take a lot of fluid to get her full 10-15quarts depending on your cooler and lines and torque converter. There is no such thing as a little low with a 4l60e, i run mine about 1/2-1 quart overfull when hot.

The only break in needed is after you do the initial run in and make sure full of fluid let car set overnight then start allow to warm then make sure fluid is still at top of cross hatch
Frank
As he mentioned above there no such thing as a little low

No though a tune can always be helpful it can really wake up a performance automatic by putting shift points , kick down etc in more power oriented places under throttle
