Default 98 LS1 4L60E, will it fit in a 2wd 96 4.3L S10??
Hello, my brother has a 96 S10 2wd that has a broken sun shell and a few other junked parts inside. Well, he has a 98 Formula that he is planning on doing a th400 swap over the winter to. The question we have is, will the Formula's trans directly swap(minus bellhousing and converter) and work in the s10? It has a 2pc driveshaft and is an M30 4L60E.

No would require a different input shaft , pump stator and bell housing . plus of course a different converter
