Default a4 swap question

i just swapped an a4 from a 98 TA in to my 2000ss. everything is in but now i need to know about the electrical connectors for the trans.would it be possible to completely swap harnesses and pcms or is there an easier way? i have the ability to get the harness and computer from the 98.


...i have searched but couldn't find the direct answer.

I am lost are you swapping a 98 4l60e to a 2000 4l60e car is so the wiring and electronics are the same, No swap needed.

im sorry, after re-reading my post it is a little confusing. I own a 2000 m6 camaro and my buddy owns a 1998 T/a...we swapped trannys. his car is running fine but now that were working on mine we dont know what to do with the electrical end of my new 4l60e.

You will need to swap the harness and reflash your PCM to 2000 auto

swap the entire engine harness and pcm? aren't there different style plugs and locations between 98's and 00's?
