tranny slipping at high rpms
tranny slipping at high rpms Im currently trying to diagnose my tranny and want yalls opinions on whats wrong. when wot around 5800rpm it feels like you pushed the clutch in, it revs but doesnt feel like the power is being applied. so it revs and hits the rev limiter (@ 6k), i let off and it shifts to third.
tranny is a rpm level 5 tranny, t/c is vig 3200 single disk. part of me thinks the tc is slipping and cant take the power (its been stalled for 2+ years)
so what do yall think? other mods are in the sig. thanks

My 4L60E did the same thing and it turned out to be the pump. Eventually it went out completely and I was going a whole lot of no where with it. That would be my guess. Talk to the guys that did your trans; hopefully they can shed some light on the issue and give you a better idea. Good luck.
