Default What is the optimal stall for a MS3

Was wondering what the optimal stall converter is for a MS3 car. Have 4.11's with 325 50's if that makes a difference.

I'm wondering too,i'm buying an ms3 and heads package, this week. I was thinking of going with the yank 3200 or 3600. And 373 gears.

from what i have seen at least the 3600. alot of people run 4000 or even 4400. that seems to much to me. but that is why i started this post. right now i have a TCI super street fighter waiting to go in the car. it is a 3500 to 3800 stall. i was thinkin the optimal was around a 3800 but no clue.

get a yank 4000. i have a th350 and it rides around nice and then when ya ready to drop the hammer, it'll act a fool. its a nice converter. running 4.11's also.

4000 would be perfect.. you can still spray a 200 shot on that and be ok.. but i would reccomend a 150 shot.. your gonna be scootin outta the hole anyways..

I have the MS3. I ran it with a TCI SSF 3500 and currently it has a Fuddle 4000 nitrous converter. I have sprayed up to a 250 shot on the Fuddle and it is perfect. I ran it with 3.73 gears and 4.10s. I didn't get any difference in ETs between the two gears. If you are only going to run it on motor then I would go with a 4400 converter. The MS3 is a high rpm cam that does not make alot of torque. Like I said, the 4000 converter works great with the spray.

i didnt want just a all out n/a converter, so i got the 4000 which is nice for n/a, and if i wanna hit it with spray, i could hit it with a 100-150. just depending on what ya want. call yank, circle d, or whoever. they should be big help and spec out what ya want.

I would get a SS4000 if you want to spray. I have the PT4400 in my bolton car and its sick! And a MS3 would probably be perfect. However its not a spray-able converter.
