I run my car at the track, and it's a weekend car. I just have full exhaust, 3.73's, and an ls6 intake. The tranny shifts hard now with the tune. I like it and it feels fine. Since I run my car over the summer weekly, should I think about beefing up the tranny? The car has 62K on it. Long term plans are converter and a mild cam.

I was looking at these two places:

http://tciauto.com/Products/ServiceKits/
(The pro sper kit. Not the ultimate)

http://4l60-e.com/#Performance%20Parts
(Maybe piece together something from that site)

Opinions please.

I say run it til it breaks..but you could always invest in a decent transmission cooler to help it live longer. Get the biggest you can fit!

I would, but I really don't have the money for that.

I'm worried about my 10-bolt going out. I may be able to get a kit for christmas

I would agree on just getting a trans from a sponsor , Many times self built units go terribly wrong and end up costing as much as a built unit when done, not to mention the down time, Now as far as beefing the present trans up i would leav it alone if its working well and save money for a built one so you will have it when its time.

Thanks for the advice. I may just get a vette servo for a little more kick, and a cooler.
